A New Thing™ began with a whisper:
“You will walk through the fire and not be burned.” Isaiah 43:2
That moment came in stillness - an unexpected, but unforgettable surrender. It wasn’t a business idea or a brand vision. It was a promise. A lifeline in the wilderness. A quiet assurance that even in fire, even in pain, God is present and doing something new.
It is from this sacred place that a new thing™ was born to remind and testify that even when life feels uncertain, or overwhelming, God is still working and His promises are unfolding right where we are.
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:19

Our mission
A New Thing™ exists to encourage people to walk with faith in God every season through scripture-inspired, intentionally designed apparel. From prayer to production, every piece is created to reflect the promises of Isaiah 43 “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you… you will not be overcome” and “See, I am doing a new thing… I am making a way in the wilderness.” *A portion of our profits are donated to support local missionaries who are living out that same truth and bringing the hope of the Gospel into their communities.
Our founder
Amira was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and loves Jesus with her whole heart. Her life has been shaped by a conviction that God’s Word is truer than any circumstance or temporary feeling. She believes God is always doing a new thing - moving in both the mundane and the miraculous moments.
She created a new thing™ during a season of prayer and healing to encourage others to stand firm in their faith and remember that walking with God in every season makes all the difference.
She is a Returned Peace Corps Ukraine Volunteer and HBCU alumna. Amira is currently pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Sciences, serving as a board member for the Women’s League of Science and Medicine Scholarship, and actively serves her community through her local church.
